Choose a Thailand travel eSIM by matching three things: how many days you will be away, how much total data you need, and the networks included in the package. This guide is prepared by eSIM2Go, the provider of the plans linked here. Start with the live catalog rather than an old advertised starting price.
Thailand eSIM for 7, 14 or 30 days
Trip length and package validity are different. Choose a package whose validity is at least as long as the period you need after activation. These examples are starting points for comparison, not a guarantee that the data will last for your whole trip.
| Your trip | Starting comparison | Check before buying |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days | At least 3 GB total and 7 days validity | Add arrival and departure days; allow extra for video |
| 14 days | At least 5 GB total and 14 days validity | A longer-validity package may also fit |
| 30 days | At least 10 GB total and 30 days validity | Budget for background downloads and hotspot usage |
Bangkok, Phuket and trips with several stops
For a Bangkok city break, keep data available for your hotel address, maps and messaging during arrival. If you continue to Phuket, Krabi or Chiang Mai, compare coverage for those stops on the networks listed in your package. A country name on a plan does not promise signal in every building, on every island or throughout a boat journey. Save maps, bookings and transport details for offline use before each travel day.
Compare networks and data limits
Some Thailand packages in our live catalog list TrueMove H and DTAC; other packages may list different networks. Read the network list on the specific package you intend to buy. A 5G label describes a supported network capability, not a speed guarantee: your phone, location, signal and network load still matter.
Fixed-data packages provide a total allowance. For a daily or unlimited package, check the high-speed allowance per day and the reduced speed after it is used. A daily allowance is not the same as total data for the whole trip. Confirm hotspot support in the package details if you plan to connect a laptop.
Before departure and after arrival
Install while you still have a reliable internet connection and another screen or a supported installation link for the QR details. Installation and the start of validity can be different events. For a package marked as starting on first network use, use the displayed validity when planning your trip. Other packages may follow a different activation rule, so read it before installing.

Website or Telegram purchase
Website checkout uses NOWPayments. After payment confirmation and successful fulfilment, your eSIM and installation details appear on the website. In the eSIM2Go Telegram Mini App, you can also pay directly with USDT on TRC20, GRAM, Telegram Stars or via Crypto Bot. A Telegram purchase appears in My eSIMs in the app, where you can track usage and top up supported packages. The available payment method and final amount are shown before payment.
Keep your home SIM only for the functions you need, and check its roaming rates separately. Keeping your number, receiving SMS or using Wi-Fi calling does not by itself guarantee that your home operator will charge nothing.
Thailand eSIM questions
Which eSIM should I choose for a 7-day Thailand trip?
Compare packages valid for at least seven days and choose the total data allowance for your own usage. The live page includes a 3 GB starting example for a week, but video, hotspot use and background downloads can require more. A 15-day package can also cover a seven-day trip.
Will one Thailand eSIM cover Bangkok and Phuket?
Look for Thailand in the package coverage and check its listed networks for both stops. You do not normally choose a separate country package for each Thai city, but local signal availability is not guaranteed.
Does this travel eSIM give me a Thai phone number?
The travel plans offered here are data-only. Internet messaging and calling apps can use the data connection. Keep your regular SIM if you need your existing number, and check roaming charges with your home operator.
Can I keep using it when I travel to Vietnam?
Do not assume a Thailand package includes Vietnam. Check every country in the package coverage, or compare the Vietnam plans separately before crossing the border.
